En 1949, il entre \u00c3\u00a0 la police d\u00e2\u20ac\u2122Osaka dont il devient l\u00e2\u20ac\u2122instructeur principal en 1965. Il prend sa retraite en 1983. Il a particip\u00c3\u00a9 avec succ\u00c3\u00a8s \u00c3\u00a0 tous les grands tournois du Japon et a occup\u00c3\u00a9 des fonctions de dirigeant au sein de la F\u00c3\u00a9d\u00c3\u00a9ration de Kendo du Japon (ZNKR); il a \u00c3\u00a9galement occup\u00c3\u00a9 la vice-pr\u00c3\u00a9sidence de la f\u00c3\u00a9d\u00c3\u00a9ration de kendo de Nara.
